What a talented author to keep the twin stories running in paralell without the bouncing around feeling you often get when other storytellers try this. I hope this is not Douglas' only book and look forward to the next. It's a love story so epic that Shakespeare saw it fit to be the subject of one of his tragedies. They met in 41 B. The alliance would prove sour when future emperor Octavian convinced the Roman senate that Marc Antony was power-hungry and bewitched by Cleopatra, declaring war on his former partner in 31 B.

The amazing part of this word is that the most nominal forms of it involve the trouble which man causes triggering hurt feelings. Not only that, but He has considered it to do something about it.
